Vintage Hawaiian dress
Circa 1950s
Kamehameha
Style 4903
Size: the tag states size 12, but in modern size it's an XS (see measurements below)
Colors: mostly red, with some purple, pink, gray, blue
The flowers have a metallic outline
There is one pocket on each side; 2 front pleats; a kick pleat on the back
Condition: there are no stains; there are a couple places where the stitching has started to come undone (left shoulder strap, photo 7; belt attachment, photo 9); the bust seam was resewn (there are needle holes parallel to the seam, looks like this was done during construction)
Measurements:
Waist: approx. 25" (my mannequin has a 25.5" waist, the dress was tight, but the belt would not button)
Bust: approx. 34"
Hips: approx. 38"
Skirt length: from waist seam to bottom: approx. 29"
